The Regular KKN-PPM Program at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) is an enriching initiative that invites international students to join hands with UGM’s own students in creating meaningful contributions to local communities. This program is more than an academic exercise—it’s a chance to apply your knowledge, learn firsthand from diverse experiences, and make a tangible difference.

Program Timeline and Key Highlights:

  • Day H-30: Orientation
Comprehensive pre-departure orientation designed to prepare students with essential knowledge, cultural insights, and program expectations. This is a vital step to ensure participants are fully equipped for their immersive fieldwork experience.

  • Day 1: Departure
Participants set out together from UGM to their designated community location. This marks the beginning of an immersive experience where students start building bonds and familiarizing themselves with their new environment.

  • Day 2-49: Field Programs
For nearly two months, students engage in collaborative, impactful projects that span various disciplines—from community development, health, and education to environmental sustainability and economic empowerment. This period is designed to foster problem-solving skills, teamwork, and cross-cultural communication while delivering meaningful community service.

  • Day 50: Program Withdrawal
The program concludes with a reflective wrap-up as students withdraw from their communities. This is a time to celebrate achievements, acknowledge contributions, and prepare to bring invaluable experiences back home.
