Tens of Students from UGM did KKN-PPM Program in Sijunjung, Hundreds From Universitas Andalas

Muaro, (Antaranews Sumbar) – A total of 282 students, consisting of 254 from Universitas Andalas (Unand) Padang, West Sumatra, and 28 people from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) held a Students Comunity Service- Community Empowerment Learning (KKN-PPM) program in Sijunjung District.

Official submission from the college representatives was received by the vice-regent of Sijunjung, Arrival Boy at Sibinuang Sakti Sports Hall on Thursday.

This activity was carried out from 28 June to 8 August 2018 in 11 villages in six sub-districts in Sijunjung District.

in his speech Deputy Regent Sijunjung Arrival Boy welcomed the Rector of Universitas Andalas, Rector of Gadjah Mada and to all students who will take part in the KKN-PPM Program in Sijunjung Manih Lansek Area.

Almost every year Sijunjung is choosen as a location of KKN-PPM program and thanks to the Rector of Universitas Gadja Mada Yogjakarta for the first time trusting Sijunjung District as the location of KKN-PPM in Nagari Padang Tarok which is one of the transmigration UPTs in West Sumatra.

Hopefully during the Tri Dharma duties of Higher Education in the field of community service, can help the community with various positive things for the progress of the village.

“Besides that KKN-PPM is a mode for the application and development of science, technology and art, carried out outside campus, in time, working mechanisms and certain requirements” he said.
