Sendang-wonogiri.desa.id│ Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) once again releases its students to take part in the PPM Community Service Program. Located on the Grha Sabha Pramana (GSP) of UGM on Saturday (06/23/2018), the release of KKN PPM students was conducted directly by the Village Minister, Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration, Eko Putro Sandjojo.
In this period the UGM KKN-PPM carried the theme ‘UGM Synergizing to Build Villages’ and carried out in 34 provinces, 107 municipal districts in Indonesia and consisted of 212 units. Students in the KKN-PPM program in this period numbered 5,992 students, who came from 18 Faculties and Vocational Schools. The field operational activities themselves will be held for 2 months, starting from June 23 to August 10, 2017.

Puguh Wintoro, General Manager of the Dieng GeoDipa Unit said that it was a pleasure to work together with UGM in a geothermal socialization program. The community has the right to know that geothermal energy is environmentally friendly energy. Pekasiran Village people live side by side with one of the geothermal producing areas, namely Candradimuka which has a potential of around 50 MW. Candradimuka is one of the areas included in the Geodipa geothermal development plan. Hopefully with this activity, community support will become even more massive so that development activities run well.

The 31 UGM students will attend Community Service Program in Sei Gohong Village and Habaring Hurung Village, Bukit Batu District.
The duration of this KKN is 48 days. But before being released to the field they first introduced the Mayor of Palangka Raya Riban Satia along with his staff on Tuesday (6/26/2018) in the Peteng Room of Karuhei I.
Representing the mayor, Deputy Mayor of Palangka Raya Mofit Saptono Subagio expressed his gratitude to UGM Yogyakarta for appointing the City of Palangka Raya as the location for Community Service for the umpteenth time.

SUNGAILIAT, BABELREVIEW – A total of 90 students from Universitas Gajah Mada (UGM) from various study programs conducted KKN-PPM in Bangka Regency. The Regent of Bangka Tarmizi H Saat accepted the presence of students in the official residence of the Bangka Regent, Monday night (06/25/2018).
The evening was also handed over to UGM students by the Representative of the Directorate of Community Service UGM Adriana.
KKN-PPM UGM is a form of synergy between the Bangka Regional Government and various elements of development, from the community, community organizations, community leaders, government, private sector and universities with the quadruple helix concept, namely government, businessmen, communities and universities, with cooperation both in the field of research, training and community service.

The implementation of this year’s KKN is expected to help support the development and continue the implementation of the strategic programs of the Bangka Regent. In addition to carrying out activities that are able to encourage independence and prosperity in a sustainable manner. KKN-PPM UGM is one of the places to hold students together with the community, as a form of community service and empowerment in accordance with the context of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Universitas Gadjah Mada, UI, IPB, UNS, UNSRI, STTP are a number of universities that have agreed on cooperation in the fields of research, training and community service in the form of MoU. In the past few years the Regional Government of Bangka has collaborated with local universities such as UBB, STKIP Muhammadiyah, PERTIBA, STIKES and other universities.

MERAWANG – Student Community Service-Community Empowerment Learning (KKN-PPM) of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) Yogyakarta and farmers in the Village of Kimak planted rice in the rice fields of Kimak Village, Merawang District, Bangka Regency, Sunday morning (07/29/2018).
Head of Agriculture Office of Bangka Regency, Ir. Kemas Arfani Rahman who represented the Bangka Regent Tarmizi during his speech said that indeed changing the cultural behavior of farming rice fields in Bangka was quite difficult, different from other regions. However, the Bangka Regency Government has always been trying since 2016, where rice fields covering an area of 2200 hectares have been printed, where the results have been seen in 2017. If previously the availability of rice in Bangka was only 7 percent, it has now risen to 23 percent.

Optimizing village funds is one solution to problems in the countryside.
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, LOMBOK BARAT – A total of 20 UGM students conducted a Community Service Program (KKN) in Bagik Polak Village, Labuapi District, West Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). As an agenda of KKN activities, the students held a workshop held at the Main Hall of the Office of West Lombok Regent on Monday (23/7) yesterday.
The workshop which discussed the Optimization of Utilization of Village Fund Budget (ADD) and Village Funds (DD) was attended by representatives from the Director General of Village Development of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Secretary General of the Ministry of Trade PDTT and Chair of LPPM UGM Yogyakarta.

University students hopefully can stimulate villagers to take a turn from a spectator into exhibition

About 6,000 students from The Universitas Gajah Mada (UGM) in the seventh semester, on June 23, 2018, went to villages throughout Indonesia. They were released by PDTT Village Minister Eko Prio Sandjojo accompanied Bay Rector of Universitas Gajah Mada Prof. Dr. Panut Mulyono, complete with Vice Rectors, hundreds of honorary invitations including Secretary General Anwar Sanusi, Director General Taufik Majid, Expert Team Haryono Suyono, Jimmy Gani, Avialiani, Dana Avrizal, Bibid Samad, Abdullah Kamil, Wawan, and Para Mita from the Ministry of Village. Yes, this is because UGM is a university that is very thick as a bearer of the Pancasila nation’s ideology that has been strong and has been a driving force for KKN in the village for a long time.
